If you’ve listened to the Your Kid’s Next Read podcast, you’ll know that we have a segment called the Bingo Question.

Bingo questions are the questions that come up over and over in our Facebook community – the kinds of questions we could rely on if we were ever to create a Bingo card.

One of the biggest Bingos of all is about reluctant readers, and it’s a subject that we cover in different ways all the time (see the list of podcast episodes at the end of this post).

This week, Megan and I are presenting at the Shoalhaven Teacher-Librarian Conference on the south coast of NSW – an entire conference devoted to Reaching Reluctant Readers.

So we thought we’d bring you a summary of some of our tips in the hopes they might be helpful to you, too.
