Recommendations from the Your Kid's Next Read community

Book recommendations are the heart and soul of the Your Kid’s Next Read community on Facebook. Members arrive looking for their kid’s next read – and usually leave with a teetering stack of titles to try.

In our recent survey, more than half of respondents told us that the group discussion and recommendations was their very favourite thing about YKNR. More than half also loved our curated book reviews and lists.

What better then, than to combine the two with this new list of recommendations gleaned from the Your Kid’s Next Read community?

These are the books that 11-year-old readers are loving right now, as shared by the YKNR members in their lives. They’re not all brand new, and many of them are not ‘the usual suspects’.

From fantasy to graphic novels, there’s something here for everyone and they come tried and tested.
